1Recognise the varying ways food allergy can present. Learn which allergies can be tested for and how others are diagnosed. Know what advice should be given in primary care and when a referral is warranted.
2Learn what advice breast feeding mum's should be given, and understand how to prescribe the various formulas on the market. Gain a deeper understanding of the milk ladder and how to navigate the challenges which can present.
3Recognise how to tailor treatment for eczema. Understand why children with eczema are at increased risk of food allergies and know how this can be reduced. Learn who should have allergy testing.
4Learn what immunotherapy is and what availability there is for it in the UK. Look at future treatment options for food allergy.
